Q. What is your cancellation policy?
A. Convention registrations may be cancelled until midnight, May 31, 2008 for a full refund, minus a $10.00 processing fee.
Please Note: The Amarillo Convention 2008 or the host chapter Rhett’s Darlin’ Divas is not responsible for refunds of any fee or expenses beyond the convention registration fee.
Refunds for hotel reservations must be handled through the hotel and are subject to their policy.
NO-shows will be considered a non- refundable cancellation.
Q. What is your last day for registration?
A. The last day for convention registration is April 31, 2008. Due to limited space and an overwhelming response with early registration, first come first serve by the date of registration is received.
Q. My husband will be coming with me. Can he attend any of the events or activities?
A. We’re sorry, but space available at all events and activities is limited and can only be offered to Red Hatters registered at the convention.
Q. There are two workshops I want to sign up for but the times overlap.
A. In order to give ladies more options for their free time, some activities had to overlap due to time constraints. We don’t want to choose your workshop for you, so look at the descriptions and decide what you would most like to do.
Remember workshop participants are limited. First come first serve by the date of registration is received. If workshop is full by your registration date received you will automatically be place in the other workshop offered.
Q. Will you have a price for ladies that can only attend one or two events?
A. Unfortunately, no. In order for us to keep the cost within a range that everyone can afford, we cannot break down costs by the day or by the event. We hope everyone will understand and will want to come and enjoy the entire experience.
Q. Are Red Hatters from other states invited to register/attend the convention?
A. Most definetly! Our only limitation is the hotel number of attendees because the convention facility is very limited. Again, first come first serve by the date of registration is received.
Q. It is past the deadline for a convention refund, and I have had a family emergency and need to cancel. Can I get a refund anyway?
A. We know unexpected problems/issues come up that may require you to cancel attending the convention, but please understand that your registration fee included much more than meal costs. We have already paid expenses for entertainment, tour buses, decorations, web fees and other miscellaneous expenses. So, while we are sympathetic, we will have to enforce the refund deadline date for the midnight of May 31, 2008.
